Tragedy in Orlando

Student Life Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS), is deeply saddened by the tragedy in Orlando, Florida on June 12.  CCS would like to extend our thoughts and support to those affected by this violence.  We are particularly mindful of the LGBTQ community as this horrific event occurred at Pulse, a venue that serves as an educational and social club of the LGBTQ community in Orlando.

We are also aware that individuals with a similar background to the perpetrator’s identity can be unfairly victimized in the aftermath of such a tragedy.  These individuals will certainly be supported by CCS as needed.  Please see attached link to view the full article. http://ccs.osu.edu/articles/tragedy-in-orlando/
