LGBTQ
Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS) at The Ohio State University has a long history of being a rich and affirming environment for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning (LGBTQ) students. As might any student, those who identify as LGBTQ may find themselves in need of support. At CCS we are committed to improving the experience of LGBTQ students through support, education, and advocacy. We use an affirming approach to working with LGBTQ students. CCS follows the ethical guidelines outlined by our respective professional associations including, but not limited to, the American Psychological Association (APA). In short, when visiting CCS, you will be supported, respected and encouraged while you move though whatever concerns you bring.
